I am a member of the Association of Research Managers and Administrators (ARMA). I sit on ARMA’s Training and Development Committee, and run events within the training calendar. This includes the introductory ‘Routes to Impact’ session (2015/6) and Open Access for Research Managers (2017).
I am also the co-champion for ARMA’s Impact Special Interest Group (with Lizzie Garcha, University of Sheffield). We represent the impact community, facilitating networking across impact staff within the UK and supporting best practice within the sector.
In 2015 I was delighted to win the inaugural ARMA Research Impact award, sponsored by Research Media. Nominated by both Coventry University and Northumbria University, the Judge’s citation notes my contribution to impact capacity building within Coventry and across the sector.
